Terms of Service

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service apply when you visit oursacredroots.store, purchase a reading or digital offering, join a membership, use an interactive reading room, or otherwise use Sacred Roots services. By using the site or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms and the policies linked on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use or purchase the affected service.

Who may use paid services

Paid readings, memberships, and purchases are intended for adults age 18 or older. By purchasing, you confirm that you are legally able to enter this agreement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Payments and pricing

Prices are shown before purchase and may change for future purchases. Your current purchase will be charged at the price displayed when you complete it. You are responsible for providing valid payment information and for any taxes or fees that legally apply. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider under that provider's own terms and privacy practices.

Service availability

Sacred Roots may update, pause, limit, or discontinue a feature, offering, or service when reasonably necessary. We may refuse or end service when a request is abusive, threatening, unlawful, unsafe, outside the scope of the offering, or inconsistent with the values of this spiritual community.

Intellectual property

The Sacred Roots name, original written material, reading systems, card meanings, graphics, recordings, classes, downloads, and members-only resources are protected creative work. Unless a product page expressly provides a different license, your purchase grants you limited, personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, publish, teach from, scrape, upload into another product or AI system, or use Sacred Roots material to create a competing offering.

Third-party services and links

The site may link to or depend on services operated by others, including payment, email, audio, scheduling, or hosting providers. Sacred Roots does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, or separate terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred Roots is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, spiritual guidance, digital content, or membership. If Sacred Roots is found liable for a claim, the total liability will not exceed the amount you paid Sacred Roots for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes, severability, and governing law

We may update these terms as the site and services develop. The current effective date will appear at the top of this page. If one part is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without limiting any consumer protection that must apply where you live.

Reading, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Private readings

A private intuitive reading is $55 unless a different price is clearly posted before purchase. Readings begin with intuitive and spiritual guidance. Cards, shells, coffee, or other tools may be used when the reader believes they are needed for clarity; purchasing a reading does not guarantee that a particular tool will be used.

No refunds

Because time is reserved and preparation may begin as soon as a reading is booked, reading payments are nonrefundable. A refund will not be issued because you changed your mind, disliked or disagreed with the message, expected a different tool, missed the appointment, arrived late, or did not receive a particular outcome. This policy does not prevent correction of a duplicate charge or a refund required by law.

Rescheduling

One reschedule is permitted when you provide at least 24 hours' notice. The rescheduled appointment must be arranged within a reasonable time and remains subject to availability. Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be treated as a missed appointment and require a new purchase.

Late arrivals and no-shows

Arriving late may shorten your session so later appointments are not delayed. Arriving 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start time without prior communication may be treated as a no-show. No-shows and late cancellations forfeit the payment and are not eligible for a refund or replacement session.

If Sacred Roots must cancel

If Sacred Roots must cancel and cannot provide a reasonable rescheduling option, you may choose a new appointment or a refund of the affected reading payment.

Privacy and boundaries

Reading conversations are treated with care and discretion, but they are not legally privileged communications. Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, banking details, medical records, or other information that is not necessary for your reading. Threats, harassment, recording without permission, or requests involving harm or unlawful conduct may end the session without a refund.

Membership Rules

Recurring billing

Unless clearly described as a one-time purchase, Sacred Roots memberships renew automatically at the stated billing interval until canceled. By joining, you authorize the payment method on file to be charged for each renewal. You are responsible for canceling before the next renewal date if you do not want another charge.

Cancellation and membership refunds

You may cancel anytime. Membership payments are nonrefundable and are not prorated. After cancellation, your access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and no further renewal should be charged. Canceling does not create a refund for the current or any earlier billing period.

Personal, nontransferable access

Membership belongs to the person who purchased it. Login access, downloads, class materials, recordings, reading systems, discount codes, and members-only resources may not be shared, copied, posted publicly, resold, or transferred to another person.

Membership benefits and price changes

Benefits may develop as the community grows. Sacred Roots may add, replace, reschedule, or retire benefits while preserving the overall purpose of the membership. Reasonable notice will be given before a material price change applies to a future renewal. Continuing the membership after the effective date accepts the updated price or benefits.

Community participation

Members must communicate respectfully, protect the privacy of other members, and avoid harassment, threats, hate speech, solicitation, impersonation, or disruptive conduct. Sacred Roots may limit or terminate access for a serious or repeated violation. When access is terminated for violating these rules, the current payment is not refunded unless required by law.

Digital Content & Purchase Policy

Final sale

Digital downloads, recordings, classes, guides, and instantly accessible materials are final sale once access is provided. Refunds are not offered for accidental purchases, change of mind, failure to read the description, device incompatibility, or failure to use the content. If a file is defective or access fails, contact Sacred Roots so we can attempt to repair or replace it.

License

Unless the product page states otherwise, digital content is licensed for your personal spiritual study and use. Ownership does not transfer to you. Commercial use, resale, redistribution, public posting, file sharing, mass reproduction, or repackaging is prohibited.

Charge errors

Contact Sacred Roots promptly about duplicate charges or a payment taken for content that was never made available. We will review documented billing or delivery errors in good faith.

Privacy Policy

Information we may collect

Sacred Roots may receive information you provide when requesting a reading, purchasing, joining a membership, sending email, or participating in community features. This may include your name, email address, transaction details, appointment information, messages, and the questions or intentions you voluntarily share. Payment card numbers are generally handled by the payment processor rather than stored directly by Sacred Roots.

Technical information

The site and its hosting or service providers may automatically process standard technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from an internet address, pages visited, timestamps, cookies, and security logs. This information may be used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand use of the site.

How information is used

Information may be used to provide readings and purchases, manage memberships, respond to questions, send service notices, process transactions, prevent misuse, improve the site, keep business records, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and sale of information

Sacred Roots does not knowingly sell or rent personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the site, process payments, deliver email, schedule appointments, host content, or protect against fraud. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a lawful business transfer.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, business records, dispute resolution, security, or legal requirements. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no website, email, or storage system can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information held directly by Sacred Roots, subject to legal, security, transaction-record, and technical limitations. You may also opt out of nonessential promotional email using the method provided in the message. To make a privacy request, email oursacredroots@outlook.com.

Children's privacy

The site and paid services are not directed to children under 18, and Sacred Roots does not knowingly collect personal information from children through paid offerings. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request review and appropriate removal.

Spiritual Services Disclaimer

Readings, prayers, candle services, reflections, interactive tools, and educational material are offered for spiritual guidance, personal reflection, and cultural education. They do not guarantee a prediction, result, reconciliation, legal outcome, financial gain, healing, protection from all harm, or change in another person's behavior.

Sacred Roots services do not replace medical or mental-health care, emergency help, legal advice, financial advice, or other licensed professional services. Do not stop treatment, medication, legal action, financial obligations, or safety planning because of a reading or site content. If you are in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service in your location.

You remain responsible for your choices, actions, boundaries, and decisions. Use spiritual guidance alongside sound judgment, verified facts, and qualified professional help when appropriate.

Community Conduct & Acceptable Use

To protect the Sacred Roots circle, you agree not to use the site, membership, or services to harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, impersonate, defraud, discriminate against, or endanger another person. You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, spread malicious code, scrape protected content, evade payment, or use the services for unlawful activity.

Do not reveal another member's identity, story, reading, message, image, or private information without clear permission. Disagreement is allowed; cruelty, intimidation, public shaming, and targeted disruption are not.

Sacred Roots may remove content, restrict participation, refuse service, or terminate access when necessary to protect the community, comply with law, or enforce these policies.
